The RUFF TUFF II® Commercial Traffic Door System is engineered for demanding commercial environments where ordinary swinging doors simply cannot withstand the constant abuse of daily traffic. Combining a rugged internal steel structure with a durable, impact-resistant exterior, RUFF TUFF II delivers the strength, smooth operation, and professional appearance required for busy restaurants, supermarkets, commercial kitchens, retail facilities, warehouses, and back-of-house operations.

At the core of each 1-1/8" thick door panel is a reinforced, internally welded steel frame engineered to provide exceptional structural strength and long-term durability. The door surface is protected by a heavy-duty, FDA-compliant elastomeric coating with a distinctive diamond-textured finish that helps resist everyday impacts, scratches, scuffs, and wear while providing an attractive commercial appearance.

Designed to keep people and products moving efficiently, RUFF TUFF II doors swing easily in both directions with less than one pound of opening force, allowing employees to pass through quickly while carrying products, pushing carts, or moving light material-handling equipment. The double-acting hinge system provides smooth operation and automatically returns the doors toward the closed position after each use.

For improved visibility and workplace safety, each door panel features a 3/16" thick shatter-resistant polycarbonate vision panel mounted in a high-impact urethane frame. The standard window size is 13" wide x 17" high, with larger vision panel configurations available for applications requiring increased visibility.

Corrosion-resistant stainless steel hinges and commercial-grade mounting hardware provide dependable performance in demanding environments, while the aluminum jamb protection system helps protect the door opening from repeated use and impact.
